A childhood pantry staple, funny I never knew the ratio of cinnamon to sugar. This is one of those “it’s here so I have it handy” recipes.
I used to add a couple grinds of cardamom and a squeeze of honey to my hot cocoa, or my oatmeal (porridge) or cream of wheat, then my cardamom grinder broke (yes, I hear myself), and I think the other grinder (really, I do hear myself) is at the office, and it’s lockdown, and I don’t want to buy another “thing” right now, so I gave this a go.
A crunchy topped banana bread with chocolate and whisky added for good measure.
Roasted tomatoes with shrimp and feta – the ratio of effort to tastiness makes no sense, food this good shouldn’t be this easy to make.
Traditional German berry pudding, a great summer dessert that can easily be spiced up for winter too.
Lower sugar hot cocoa mix means you can sweeten and flavor your cheeky hot chocolate any way you want without sending the sugar level of your drink absolutely through the roof. Nice as-is too.
